The building acts as a safe haven for injured and sick dolphins along the Yangtze River. Dolphins that require extra care and attention will be temporarily relocated to my sanctuary where they recover and will be gradually prepared to go back to the wild.The Yangtze River that used to be home to 5000 Yangtze dolphins which are also known as Baiji, has a population of approximately 13dolphins now due to the transformation of the Yangtze River to an industrial hub and artery of mass shipping and fishing. My building intends to provide a space for dolphin research to find back the extinct dolphin and at the same time provide a place of refuge for injured dolphins along the river. N.A.
